Body-to-Brain Learning® is a professional learning approach supporting early learning, primary and secondary education contexts.
The approach supports teachers, wellbeing teams and school leaders to better understand how movement, posture, regulation, neuromotor and sensory organisation influence engagement, endurance, participation and learning readiness across the school day.
In early learning and kindergarten settings, this work supports educator understanding of developmental foundations that underpin group participation, self-regulation and transition to school within play-based and routine-based environments.
Body-to-Brain Learning @ School is delivered as education-only professional learning. It does not operate within health, therapy or disability service systems and does not involve assessment, diagnosis or individual intervention.

Framework Origin & Governance
Body-to-Brain Learning @ School was developed by Dr Christine Payard, an experienced educator and researcher specialising in neurodevelopmental education and teacher professional learning.
B2BL@S is grounded in research examining the relationship between movement, posture, sensory organisation and learning readiness within educational contexts. It supports teacher understanding and whole-school practice, rather than individualised intervention or clinical application.
Delivery occurs through trained and approved B2BL@S facilitators. Content, structure and scope are governed centrally to ensure consistency, fidelity and alignment with educational standards.

Body-to-Brain Learning @ School professional learning on the Gold Coast is delivered by Louise Boettcher, Founder of Connect Movement and an approved B2BL@S Regional Facilitator.
Louise supports schools to translate research-informed neurodevelopmental understanding into practical, classroom-ready approaches that align with real teaching environments.
How We Work With Schools
Professional Learning
Teachers develop an understanding of neuromotor and sensory development and its relationship to learning and participation within educational contexts.
Classroom Application
Teachers learn structured, classroom-based movement and regulation activities that support foundational skills associated with learning readiness.
Mentoring & Embedding
Optional mentoring supports implementation over time, helping practices embed across the school rather than remain one-off initiatives.
Relationship to Connect Movement Therapy
School-based professional learning is delivered within a strict education-only scope.
Clinical services, therapy and NDIS supports are provided separately through Connect Movement Therapy and are not delivered as part of school programs.
